Chelsea and Man City in race for Brazilian starlet Jorginho

Chelsea and Manchester City have enrolled their interest in former Arsenal target Jorge Luiz Frello Filho, whose better known as Jorginho.

  • The Brazilian midfielder whose highly rated is currently plying his services in the Serie A in Italy for newly promoted  Hellas Verona F.C.



    Arsenal were deemed to be keen in signing the Brazilian starket during the January transfer window, but were bowed out of the transfer by Verona’s asking price of £6 million.



    According to media reports in Italy, the Premier League duo of Chelsea and Manchester City have been impressed by Jorginho’s on-field performances and would be interested to capture his signature.



    Jorginho, is known for his flair and passing which was instrumental in securing Verona’s promotion to the Serie A for the 2013-14 season. He was rumoured to be associated with a move to Italian giants AC Milan in the past, but nothing concrete ever turned up.



    It seems that as of now if Verona can arrive at a reasonable transfer fee agreement with one of his two suitors.If Jorginho does secure a move to England, it is highly likely that the 21-year-old would be out loaned immediately as he would be considered as a long-term project.
