Tevez reveals he asked to leave Man City

Carlos Tevez has revealed to reporters that he asked to leave Manchester City. The Argentinian forward made a switch to Juventus this week and has left the club on only good terms.

"I talked to Pellegrini, telling him that I wanted to go away from Manchester City because I considered my cycle ended there," said Tevez.<br />

The 29-year-old put pen to paper on a 3 year contract in Turin, sealing a 17 million Euros deal to the club.<br />

"I thank Juventus for the effort they have made to bring me here. And I thank Manchester City for the beautiful years they gave me.&rdquo;
