Sevilla vow to make Spurs pay

Sevilla vow to make Spurs pay

30 October 2007 - 22:38

Sevilla president Jose Maria Del Nido believes Spurs' swoop was illegal and looks set to take the matter to Fifa and Uefa in a bid to get compensation. Sevilla's boss has insisted that they will do everything in their power to get compensation.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
  • "They will get the response they deserve from Seville," Del Nido said in The Sun.

"We will channel our energy, force and all the means available to us into making sure Tottenham pay the consequences of a situation they have illegally and illegitimately provoked.

"Here in Spain we're not used to treachery between football clubs. You'll see what we do with regard to Fifa."
