Roeder lands Taylor loan

01 November 2007 - 22:45

New Norwich manager Glenn Roeder has made Birmingham defender Martin Taylor his first signing at Carrow Road. Taylor has made just one appearance for the Blues so far this season - in their Carling Cup defeat at his former club Blackburn - and has now moved to East Anglia on a deal until December 8.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • He told the club's official website: I am delighted to secure the services of Martin Taylor.

"He is a player who I've followed throughout his career and he will be an outstanding member of the team while he is with us.

"Martin played an important role in Birmingham's promotion to the Premier League last season and he brings much-needed height in both penalty boxes."
