Fulham join Tom Huddlestone race

16 July 2013 - 06:39

Fulham have joined the race to sign Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone, after a proposed move to Sunderland fell through due to the player's hefty salary demands.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts
  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players

  • It is understood that Fulham manager Martin Jol wants to bring in the 26-year-old to shore up his midfield ahead of the new season, and will match Spurs' £5m pricetag to secure his signature.

Huddlestone had been in contact with his agent and Sunderland representatives last week, but a deal fell through due to an unexpected hitch.
