West Ham have completed a deal to sign 22-year-old Colombian striker Duvan Zapata from Estudiantes, and are confident that a work permit will be awarded to the player who has been labelled a "special talent" by the Hammers.
The Hammers were expected to sign Oscar Trejo but instead moved to sign Zapeta and have agreed a four year contract with the burly forward.
In 30 games for Argentinian club Estudiantes, Zapata has scored 14 goals and attracted interest from scouts all over Europe.
