The Roma defender, Marquinhos, has finally completed his move to Paris Saint-Germain. The Brazilian moves to Parc des Princes for a reported fee of 35 million euros.
The 19-year old joined the Giallorossi from the Brazilian side Corinthians in July 2012 but after having spent only one season there, he has now signed a five-year-deal with PSG.
Marquinho had been linked with several European clubs including the likes of Manchester United and Barcelona, following a brilliant opening season in Serie A.
"I am delighted to be joining Paris Saint-Germain, a club where so many Brazilians have played and helped write the club's history," Marquinhos told the club's official website.
"I will do everything I can to continue that tradition and write my own name into the club's illustrious history books”
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi praised the club for moving in the right direction by acquiring the services of the promising youngster.
"The arrival of Marquinhos, whose qualities have attracted the interest of major European clubs, is a real satisfaction for Paris Saint-Germain”
