Uruguayan international midfielder Gaston Ramirez has been linked with a move away from Southampton to Inter Milan. The former Bologna man joined the Saints only last summer.
Ramirez's agent has confirmed that Inter Milan have shown some interest in the club's record signing, and also that Ramirez is of course interested in a move to the Serie A giants.
"I am convinced that anything can be done if the money is there to do it. The English club has spent a lot to sign Ramirez, so if Inter want him he’ll cost them a significant sum," said Pablo Betancourt, the Uruguayan's agent.
