Newly promoted Premier League side Crystal Palace are close to signing free agent Elliot Grandin on a one year deal according to Sky Sports.
Grandin decided to leave his former club Blackpool this summer after his contract expired and has been attending pre season training with Palace.
The 25 year old was brought to Bloomfield Road by present Palace manager Ian Holloway who was in charge of Blackpool at that moment.
It is understood that Holloway is extremely impressed with Grandin's performance during the pre season and has offered him a one year deal with an option to extend it by another year.
