<strong>Newly promoted Premier League side Crystal Palace are close to signing free agent Elliot Grandin on a one year deal according to Sky Sports.</strong>

Grandin decided to leave his former club Blackpool this summer after his contract expired and has been attending pre season training with Palace.<br />

The 25 year old was brought to Bloomfield Road by present Palace manager Ian Holloway who was in charge of Blackpool at that moment.&nbsp;<br />

It is understood that Holloway is extremely impressed with Grandin's performance during the pre season and has offered him a one year deal with an option to extend it by another year.
