Argentine international Fernando Gago has been signed by Boca Juniors on a three-year contract. Boca Juniors is the club where the midfielder started his career.
The 27-year-old was quoted saying:<br />
“It's a nice feeling coming back to the club where I grew up as a person and now I want to enjoy this stage at Boca," he is quoted as saying by<span class="apple-converted-space"> <em>AS</em>.<br /> <br /> "Boca always want to be [title] candidates, that's the goal. We have the obligation to fight for the title."<br />
Gago made a move to Valencia last summer after falling out of favour at Real Madrid but failed to secure a first-team-spot. He left La Bombonera in 2007 for the Liga giants but after a loan spell at Roma, he switched permanently to Mestalla.<br />
Now he is happy to return to the club where he started his footballing career. He, however, made 13 Liga appearances for Valencia.
