Blaszczykowski turned down Manchester City offer

<strong>Poland international Jakub Blaszczykowski has revealed that he turned down Manchester City's offer this summer in favor of staying at the Westfalenstadion.</strong>

  • The Borussia Dortmund midfielder recently penned a new deal with the Bundesliga club but was approached by high spending Manchester City prior to that. <br />

    The 27 year old admitted that he is compeltely happy and settled at the club and didn't take long to turn down the chance to move to the Eastlands. <br />

    "Dortmund simply had the advantage over Manchester City," Blaszczykowski told Polish newspaper Przeglad Sportowy.<br />

    "We have a great squad, fantastic manager, incredible supporters and a very bright future ahead of us.<br />

    "In Dortmund, me and my family have everything we need. I did not pursue interest from other clubs in my services."
