Arsenal striker Eduardo da Silva has said that he feels England are doomed as it looks as if they are to crash out of the qualification for Euro 2008. The Croatian striker will be in action against England in the final qualifying game.
The Three Lions need to win their final qualifier against Eduardo’s Croatia and also some help from Israel or Andorra in order to see Russia fail to take all the points in the two qualifiers, to qualify for next summer’s finals in Austria and Switzerland.
The 25-year-old, who joined the Gunners in the summer from Dynamo Zagreb in a £8m deal, said: “Things are looking really complicated for England.
"Croatia are not there yet. We still need a draw against Macedonia. But we are definitely in the best position and I reckon it looks like Russia and Croatia will qualify."
