Premier League newcomers Crystal Palace have announced the signing of veteran goalkeeper Neil Alexander on a free transfer.
The Eagles have acquired the services of the 35-year-old inorder to provide stiff competition to their current number one Julian Speroni.
Alexander told the club's official website: "I'm absolutely delighted.
"To become part of a Premier League club is massive for me. I'm very much looking forward to the season. It's going to be a very exciting season this year."
Alexander who previously had spells at Cardiff City, Ipswich Town and Rangers has signed up a one year deal with the Eagles.
