Championship side Reading boss Nigel Adkins still has Russian striker Pavel Pogrebnyak in his first team plans unless any move materializes in the coming days.
The 29 year old target man has barely played seven minutes in the Championship this season and is believed to be interested in a move back to the Premier League.
Adkins insisted that he understands Pogrebnyak's wish to play at the top level and is willing to listen to any offers that come their way.
"Pav is in a situation where he hasn't started the opening two games of the season," said Adkins in the Reading Post. "He's used to being in the Premier League, that's where he wants to be.
"But he's still with us and that's going to be the case until we're told otherwise.
"If something happens or materialises, as with all of the players, then you cross that bridge when you come to it."
