Paris St Germain set to beat Arsenal to Cabaye signature

Reports have surfaced suggesting the French champions Paris St Germain are set to beat Arsenal to the signing of influential Newcastle United midfielder, Yohann Cabaye.

Cabaye was left out of Newcastle's match squad against Manchester City last week after reports surfaced of a bid submitted by Arsenal hours before the game, thought to be &pound;10m, which was ridiculed by Newcastle's heirarchy.<br />

The player is likely to be out for Newcastle's next league game while the issue is resolved, but it is understood that Newcastle's representatives have met with his and PSG's representatives to discuss a possible move.&nbsp;
