The draw for the Champions League has taken place today. England are represented this year by Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City.

  • Chelsea to focus on signing Dutch attacker after Hato

  • 32 teams were divided into four pots based on their position in the UEFA co-efficient ranking. The title holders and the seven top seeded clubs were drawn first. They were each allocated one after the other into groups from A to H. There are rules to make sure two teams from the same country are not drawn into the same group. 





    Group A: Man Utd, Shakhtar Donetsk, Bayer Leverkusen, Real Sociedad





    Group B: Real Madrid, Juventus, Galatasaray, Kobenhavn



    Group C: Benfica, Paris St Germain, Olympiacos, Anderlecht



    Group D: Bayern Munich, CSKA Moscow, Man City, Plzen



    Group E: Chelsea, Schalke 04, FC Basel, Steaua



    Group F: Arsenal, Marseille, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli



    Group G: Porto, Atletico Madrid, Zenit, Austria Vienna



    Group H: Barcelona, AC Milan, Ajax, Celtic
