The draw for the Champions League has taken place today. England are represented this year by Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City.
32 teams were divided into four pots based on their position in the UEFA co-efficient ranking. The title holders and the seven top seeded clubs were drawn first. They were each allocated one after the other into groups from A to H. There are rules to make sure two teams from the same country are not drawn into the same group. <br />
Group A: Man Utd, Shakhtar Donetsk, Bayer Leverkusen, Real Sociedad
Group B: Real Madrid, Juventus, Galatasaray, Kobenhavn
Group C: Benfica, Paris St Germain, Olympiacos, Anderlecht
Group D: Bayern Munich, CSKA Moscow, Man City, Plzen
Group E: Chelsea, Schalke 04, FC Basel, Steaua
Group F: Arsenal, Marseille, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli
Group G: Porto, Atletico Madrid, Zenit, Austria Vienna
Group H: Barcelona, AC Milan, Ajax, Celtic
