13 September 2013 - 16:43

Malaysian side Johor Darul Takzim are ready to officially inveil former Argentina international Pabol Aimar as their latest signing this summer.

  • Chelsea told to pay £42m to sign Pep Chavarria
  • Chelsea also want to sign Man Utd midfield target
  • The 34 year old veteran South American  midfielder left Portuguese side Benfica earlier this summer and was poised for a return to his homeland. However, a lucrative offer from the Asian side convinced him to change his mind and join them.

The JDT fans are expected to get a glimpse of their club's latest high profile signing on Saturday when Aimar will be paraded in the Larkin stadium.

JDT have also hired former Atletico Madrid and Valencia coach Cesar Ferrando Jimenez as their new manager and have set a target of domestic treble this season.
