Swansea forward Michu has earned himself his first call-up to the Spain national squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifying matches.
The Spanish sensation was prefered to Tottenham Hotspur's Roberto Soldado, as he was picked as a replacement for the injured David Villa.
There would be no doubts about the player's call-up as the former Rayo Vallecano notched up 22 goals for the Swans last season, as he helped the club win the Capital One Cup.
The World champions are currently placed at the top of the group level on points with France, but with a game in hand, and will face Belarus in Palma on Friday followed by Georgia at home four days later.
