Bacary Sagna set to leave Arsenal ?

10 October 2013 - 00:53

Arsenal are set to face a huge battle to keep hold of one of the club's longest serving players. French right-back Bacary Sagna will probably leave the North London outfit at the end of the current season as a free agent.

 • Chelsea to spend £325m on six signings under Xabi Alonso
 • Chelsea to sign £50m goalkeeper to replace Sanchez?
 • Sagna's current contract with the club expires in June 2014, and it is believed that the club do not consider the player as part of their plans for the next season.
The Daily Mail reports that Sagna would part ways with the Gunners at the end of the current campaign, with the club unlikely to offer a pay rise to the talented Frenchman.
Arsenal's chief scout Steve Rowley has indicated that the club have instructed their scouting network to find a replacement for Sagna, as the likes of PSG, Monaco, Fenerbahce and Galatarasay are currently monitoring the player's status at the club.
