Arsenal and Chelsea set to battle for the signing of England youngster on a free transfer

18 October 2013 - 00:57

Premier League sides Arsenal and Chelsea are set to battle for the signing of highly talented West Brom youngster Saido Berahino, according to ESPN.

  • Chelsea finally receive bid for Enzo Fernandez
  • Como agree deal to sign Robert Sanchez
  • The England Under-21 international has been impressive in the Premier League for the Baggies this season, having established himself as a first-team regular at the Hawthorns.

Berahino has played a major part to West Brom's performances this season, the best of which would be the eye catching display against the Premier League champions Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier this month.

With Berahino's contract set to expire in June 2014, and the player yet to sign a new extension with the West Midlands outfit, London clubs Arsenal and Chelsea are keen on snapping up the youngster on a free transfer next summer.
