19 October 2013 - 13:06

Port Vale assistant manager Mark Grew has revealed that Premier League outfit Fulham have invited goalkeeper Ryan Boot to train with the club for a week.

  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • The 19-year-old is expected to feature for the London outfit's Under-19 side when the face Aston Villa on Saturday, and Grew has insisted that Port Vale will have to await the results of the training, once he returns from Craven Cottage.

"Fulham were looking for a goalkeeper for their Under-19s and they have invited Ryan down for the week as an experience, and then we will see what develops." Grew said.

The talented shot stopper has yet to make a first-team appearance for Port Vale.
