Lazio midfielder Hernanes is reportedly keen on making a switch to La Liga giants Atletico Madrid during the January transfer window.
The Brazilian midfielder who has been linked with the likes of Arsenal in recent weeks, has recently played down claims suggesting that he had signed a new deal with the Serie A club.
A report from La Gazetta dello Sport claims that Hernanes is currently unsettled in Italy and is keen on a switch away from the club in January, with Atletico manager Diego Simeone keen on acquiring the player's services.
It is understood that Lazio will ask a transfer fee in the region of £21m for the 28-year-old, whose contract with the club expires in June 2015.
