Fulham manager Martin Jol has distanced himself from speculation linking former player Clint Dempsey with a return to the West London outfit.
Dempsey left the Cottagers in the 2012 summer transfer window, for London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, but couldn't fit into the first-team regurlarly as he failed to hit form throughout the campaign.
The 30-year-old made a move to the MLS with Seattle Sounders in the summer, and reports have emerged claiming that he could make a return to England in the winter transfer window, when the MLS season comes to a close.<br />
When asked by the media on a loan switch for Clint Dempsey, Martin Jol dismissed the reports claiming the rumours to be "unbelievable".<br /><br />"It's unbelievable speculation, which is nice," He said. "I never talk about players, especially when they are not here."<br />
Fulham are currently placed 14th in the League table.
