Fulham's Mahamadou Diarra set for Panathinaikos move

Fulham midfielder Mahamadou Diarra will join Greek side Panathinaikos, signing a one year contract. The defensive midfielder had been expected to sign a contract at the Cottagers but failed to impress manager Martin Jol.

Diarra's career now appears to have finally reached the end as the Mali international jets off for a Greek adventure. The 32-year-old will sign a 9 month contract at his new club.
