Fulham planning Clint Dempsey loan deal

Fulham planning Clint Dempsey loan deal

03 November 2013 - 04:36

Despite Martin Jol denying reports of a move for former player Clint Dempsey, it appears that Fulham will indeed make a loan offer for the Seattle Sounders forward as soon as the January transfer window reopens.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
 • Many of the Premier League's top sides have previously signed players from the MLS in America during the break in January and February, with Landon Donovan completing two moves to Everton in previous years.
It appears that Fulham will make a move for their former striker in an effort to rescue their stuttering campaign and the Cottagers are ready to pay big money to secure a loan deal.
Dempsey, who is the MLS league's most expensive transfer of all time, is believed to be interested by a short term proposal to return to the Premier League.
