Monaco monitoring WBA striker Saido Berahino

05 November 2013 - 04:00

Monaco are considering a move for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino. The forward is currently in discussions with WBA regarding a new deal but the French giants believe they can persuade the forward to move to Ligue 1.

  • Chelsea to battle Leeds for Zion Suzuki?
  • Aston Villa set staggering price tag for Morgan Rogers
  • Berahino is currently entering the last six months of his deal at the Hawthorns and is only earning only £850 a week, some way short of the reported £35,000 he is looking for on his new deal.

Monaco manager Claudio Ranieri is a huge fan of the striker and wants to sign him in the January transfer window when his contract enters the last six months of his deal.

WBA have only offered the striker £7,000 a week in contract talks so far.
