Newcastle captain Fabricio Coloccini is hoping that the club will allow him to return to Argentina in the January transfer window. The defender requested a transfer last year but the club decided to keep the player.
Coloccini remains hopeful that he can still leave St. James' Park as soon as the transfer window opens.<br />
"We did everything possible to return to Argentina, but obviously Newcastle have the final say," said the Argentine.<br />
"They are the club that invested in me and you have to respect that. <br />
"The truth is I don't want to get my hopes up. Hopefully it will be as soon as possible."
