Maxime Lestienne top of Fulham's shortlist

24 November 2013 - 13:23

Belgian youngster Maxime Lestienne is a January transfer window target for Fulham. The 21-year-old winger currently plays for Club Brugge in the Jupiler League and has also played for all of Belgium's youth sides, having recently earned his first call up to the full national side.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts
  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players

  • Lestienne is yet another quality youth talent coming out of Belgium and many are tipping the Club Brugge youngster to soon earn his first cap and possibly even make the plane to Brazil for Belgium's World Cup campaign next summer.

Fulham have been scouting Belgium for some time and Martin Jol has personally sent a scout to prepare a report on Lestienne as the youngster appears to be Fulham's top transfer priority for the January transfer window. The player will be free to move to Craven Cottage for a fee of around 3.5 million Euros.
