Italian outfit AC Milan have reportedly made a move for Atletico Madrid playmaker Koke.

The talented Spanish midfielder has been associated with a switch to the Premier League with Manchester United, who were said to be keen on making a January transfer offer for the player.<br />

According to the Mundo Deportivo, the Red Devils are set to face competition from the Serie A giants for the player's services, with the Rossoneri ready to offer the 21-year-old around &pound;3.7m a season after tax if he agrees to join the club.<br />

The report also claims that AC Milan would trigger the player's release clause which now stand at &pound;32m.<br />

Koke has been at Atletico Madrid since 2000.
