Tottenham considering deal to sign Mohamed Salah

28 November 2013 - 07:46

Egyptian international striker Mohamed Saleh is a target for Tottenham. The Basel striker has already been courted by several other top European clubs, but Tottenham's director of football Franco Baldini has been watching the player in action for over two months.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • Since the striker made his move from Egypt to Switzerland to play for Basel last year, the striker has continued to progress and has now become a first team regular at his club. Baldini watched the youngster in action just this week as the player scored the winning goal in a 1-0 win over Chelsea.
It is on the international stage where Salah continues to impress though, having scored 17 goals in 26 games for his country.
Tottenham have already made an enquiry for the striker and are confident that a 3 million Euro deal can be agreed soon.
