Simon Rolfes to end career with Bayer Leverkusen

10 December 2013 - 13:39

Bayer Leverkusen captain Simon Rolfes has said he will finish his career with his current club rather than move somewhere else.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts
  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players

  •  The 31-year-old whose career is unlikely to be over anytime soon has been a regular at his club this season.

With contract running till June 2015, the former Alemmania Aachen man will see out his contract and only then decide his future.

The Germany international ruled out a move outside Germany where he has played his whole professional career. With Leverkusen playing Real Sociedad in a must win game wednesday night, the Werkself skipper seems to be on a high after a good run in the Bundesliga this season, even equalising at the Old trafford to boost Bayer's chances of making it to the group stages.
