West Ham United forward Ricardo Vaz Te has signed a new one-year deal with the club.
Vaz Te was understood to have handed a transfer request in the summer, having failed to play regular first-team football for the Hammers.
However, he has ended up notching two goals in seven appearances for the club, before being ruled out of action with a dislocated shoulder.
The 27-year-old has now committed his future to the club until the summer of 2015, following the release of Croatian international Mladen Petric.
Vaz Te has scored 19 goals in 55 appearances for the Hammers until now.
