Betis eye Fulham striker

07 January 2014 - 16:03

Real Betis are eyeing a loan move for Fulham’s Costa Rican striker Bryan Ruiz.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • Ruiz signed for the cottagers back in 2011 from Dutch side FC Twente but so far this season has only made 12 appearances scoring one goal for the London club. As a result the 28 year old is seeking a move away to boost his chances to represent his country at the world cup in Brazil.

Marca is reporting that the Los Beticos manager Juan Carlos Garrido has personally approached the Costa Rican to convince him but a €1m fee could be a major stumbling block to the loan deal.

Betis are currently bottom of the La Liga table, five points of safety.
