Bojinov signs for City

Man City have completed the signing of Bulgarian international striker Valeri Bojinov. The talented young striker has spent all of his career in Italy, firstly at Lecce, then Fiorentina and last season on loan at Juventus.

Bojinov has 11 caps for Bulgaria and is considered one of the best young talents in Europe. Bojinov has been scouted by various teams in Europe and has been linked to other English clubs, but it looks as if the lure of Man City was too much for the Bulgarian. Bojinov stated he did not wish to return to Fiorentina and he will be looking forward to commencing his career in the Premiership.
