Lambert denies interest in players

Aston Villa Manager has denied interest in Steven Defour of Porto and Nurnberg midfielder Hiroshi Kiyotake. Both players have been linked with a move to Premier League in the last month.

    Speaking on the speculation regarding Defour Lambert told Birmingham Mail,<br />

    "No, there's nothing in that. I've not seen that one."<br />

    His response was similar when asked about Kiyotake.<br />

    "Who? At Nuremberg?" Lambert questioned. "It was a lad I tried to get in the summer, but things have moved on from that. Nuremberg are fighting to stay in the Bundesliga. Good player."<br />

    Aston Villa currently lie 11<sup>th</sup> in The Premier League table just five points of the relegation spots.
