Elano has played down comparisons to his Brazilian compatriot Ronaldinho made by Sven-Goran Eriksson, instead preferring to focus on his football with Man City. The Brazilian is flattered by the comments, but feels he can still learn.
Man City's midfielder has started the season in wonderful form, helping the club up to the top four in the Premiership.
The midfielder said: "It is a big rap. I'm happy with what he said. But I am not an individual player, I work for the team. I am not at the level of Ronaldinho Gaucho.
"The season in England has begun well for me, but I'm keeping my feet on the ground. My career has benefited from this approach.
"Ronaldinho is a magician, perhaps I have a little bit of this magic."
