Marat Izmailov has been linked with a January move from Lokomotiv Moscow to Manchester City. He is currently playing on loan at Sporting Lisbon, and his agent has rejected claims he could move.
Izmailov is on-loan at Sporting from Lokomotiv Moscow and City boss Sven Goran Eriksson wants to hijack the Portuguese club's deal in January.
But the winger's agent, Paulo Barbosa said: "Izmailov is enjoying his football at Sporting. He has adapted well to the city and to Portuguese football and wants to progress with his career at the club.
"The wishes of the player will always come first and Izmailov has no desire to leave Sporting at this moment."
