Cardiff City have joined the race for the services of Sunderland target Ignacio Scocco, as per the player's father.
The Black Cats have been monitoring the talented Argentine forward for the best part of a year, with the player rejecting a switch to the Wearside in the summer.
However, Hector Scocco revealed that his son is keen on making a move to the Premier League in the winter, as he has failed to play for Internacional with any kind of motivation.
"The problem is with Internacional, not with the Brazilian clubs." when asked on his son's interest in the Premier League, he said. "The latest news I have is what we all know, there were offers from England, from Sunderland and Cardiff City."
Scocco has a solitary cap for Argentina to his name.
