Barca agree Sanabria compensation

Barcelona have agreed compensation with Serie A club AS Roma for their former academy player Antonio Sanabria. The 17 year old joined Barcelona in 2013 but chose to turn down a new contract and joined Giallorossi.

  • A fee of 4.5 million euros has been agreed between the two clubs but it could rise up to as high as 12 million Euros depending upon the no of appearances he makes and the future value of the player.



    The one time capped Paraguay international has since been loaned out to newly promoted Serie A club Sassuolo as he can’t be registered with Roma this season.



    Sanabria turned down the attentions of Premier League Arsenal to join the Lupi instead.
