Liverpool are reportedly on the verge of acquiring the services of Yehven Konoplyanka from Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk before the transfer deadline on Friday, as Tottenham Hotspur pulled out of the negotiations for the player.
Earlier in the day, the Reds are understood to have made a bid of around £16m for the talented winger, with Spurs also keen on the player's signature.
However, Goal claims that the North London outfit have now pulled the plug on the negotiations, leaving the Reds a chance to seal the deal before the 11pm transfer deadline on Friday.
Liverpool are currently fourth in the Premier League with 46 points.
