  • The 26 year old is out of contract in the summer and has informed the club that he will not be renewing his contract with the Baden-Wurttemberg club.

This is what the Hoffenheim coach Markus Gisdol had to say about the matter,

"We've been fighting since the summer trying to convince Fabian to stay at the club,"

"However, he's opted for a transfer [to another club]."

Since joining in 2011 from fellow Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg, Johnson has made 73 appearances for the club, finding the back of the net five times.
