Barcelona have added FC Basel centre back Fabian Schar to the list of defensive options that they want at the club. The authorities at the Nou Camp are keen on him and will consider a bid for him in the summer.
The Spanish giants have had concerns regarding their defence and with club captain Carles Puyol suffering from various injuries over the last couple of years.
The 22 year old Schar has been impressive for Basel since making his debut in 2012 and has put in impressive performances both in domestic League and in Champions League.
Barca though could face a fight for the Swiss international’s signatures with interest in player from London giants Arsenal and Chelsea.
