Liverpool make Cigerci bid

Liverpool have a made a 2 million pound bid for Wolfsburg midfielder Tolga Cigerci. The 21 year old is currently on loan at Hertha Berlin.

The Reds have been watching the Germany youth international for quite a while now and seen him as an ideal competition for the likes of Lucas Leiva and Joe Allen.



The club have moved early for the youngster to avoid getting involved in a bidding battle with other German clubs especially Berlin who are looking to make his signing permanent in the summer.



Cigerci has made 11 appearances for Hertha Berlin this season scoring one goal against Eintracht Braunschweig
