Inter Milan have refused to talk about speculation linking Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna with a move to Italy. The player is out of contract in the summer and has been in talks with other teams in recent weeks.
With Arsenal stalling on a new three year deal for Sagna, the French international is now looking at a transfer elsewhere.
The right back had apparently been linked with a move to Man City, but it appears Inter are in pole position to secure the defender's signing.
"Sagna? Why must we always talk about the transfer market," said Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio told Sky Sport Italia. "We are tracking some players who can be functional to our requirements. It is a moment in which we must observe and plan, seeing who can be most useful."
