Miroslav Klose to win new Lazio contract

German striker Miroslav Klose has opened talks with Italian giants Lazio over a brand new contract at the Italian Serie A side. Klose has been in excellent form this season and could now earn a fresh deal.

Klose had been linked with a return to Germany in the summer, as Freiburg and Bayer Leverkusen were amongst the teams all considering a move for the forward.

However, one thing is for certain, Lazio will be offering the player a fresh contract. It is understood that they will offer the German forward a 90,000 Euro basic contract per week and a further 10,000 Euro per goal bonus.

Klose will make a decision on his future later on this week.
