Manchester United are set to face stiff competition from Italian champions Juventus for the services of Torino winger Alessio Cerci, according to a report.

According to TalkSPORT, the Serie A giants are ready to make a bid in the region of £16 for the talented winger, who had played a big part in the Maroons relegation battle last season.



Having already earned nine caps for the Italian national side, Cerci looks set to play a ker role for his country in the World Cup finals in Brazil, and this would increase his potential transfer value.



It will be interesting to see where the 26-year-old's future will lie at the end of the season, with Juventus likely to offer the prospect of playing in the Champions League ahead of Manchester United, who have had a torrid season.
