Rutten wants Greveraars as his assistant

New Feyenoord coach Fred Rutten wants to bring in Patrick Greveraars as his assistant coach when he takes charge of the club at the start of the next season.

  • Rutten was announced as the new coach of the Stadiumclub on Monday for the next season and itwas also announced that he will be allowed to bring in a new assistant. It has been reported in The Telegraph and AD Sportwereld that it will be Patrick Greveraars.



    39 year old Greveraars has been known to Rutten since 2001 and was his assistant at Vittesse Arnhemlast season too. The Dutchman who was a coach at Portuguese club Porto from 2007-2011 also has a close relationship with former Schalke manager.



    Greveraars specializes in developing individual capacity of the players and development of youth to the first team.



    The coach has previously also worked at some of top European clubs like Fiorentina, Lazio, Inter Milan and Atletico de Madrid.
