Gravesen staying at Celtic

01 August 2007 - 16:50

Thomas Gravesen's agent has claimed that the Danish midfielder will be staying at Celtic to try and fight for his place. Besiktas have already failed in their bid to sign the player this summer.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
  • Celtic are prepared to part with the centre midfielder, but Gravesen is determined to get his place back in the first team. Sheff Utd also had an offer accepted but the player rejected. The 31-year old was the subject of interest earlier on in the year from Sunderland, but Celtic rejected the bid. It was hoped Gravesen would fight for his place, but as of yet Strachan has been unimpressed with his commitment.
