  • The 25 year old had just returned from a five match suspension for an altercation with the referee after his side were denied a penalty in a 2-0 loss to AZ Alkmaar.

Voetbal International report that the striker injured his toe after he fell down the stairs at home thus suffering a tear and making him unavailable for selection for coming weeks.

The news of losing their top striker is compounded by the fact that fellow striker Frank Demouge is also out of action and The Miners could be forced to hand a debut to 33 year old Berry Powell who was on the bench last time round.

Roda play fellow relegation strugglers NEC Nijmegen at home on Saturday in a must win game.
