Manchester City are readying a summer bid worth £30m for one of the best defenders in the Premier League.

Southampton full-back Luke Shaw has been the subject of transfer speculation since the start of last summer, with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United as well as Manchester City keen on securing his services.

 

According to Goal, the Saints could be tempted in letting go of their star defender, with the Citizens set to trump their rivals with a mega bid of £30m during the summer transfer window.

 

The 18-year-old made his senior debut for England during their friendly against Denmark earlier this month.
